The final countdown
Yes it was awesome it actaully worked. So I went down to this top secret place with jeffery and one of our fellow bloggers jacob beattie, we set up our rocket contraptions and I put some more fins on my rocket so it would go straight up in the air. But when we were just about to launch my rocket we had a problem, jeffery had fergot the safety key for the fuse ignitor. This meant I could not do it there. So as soon as I got home I rode down to my local deli and got some sparklers so I could shove some of the sparklers into the rocket engine to work as a fuse. Using sparklers meant that this would be more dangerous but I Thought it would look cool and it did. when I got my rocket and all the stuff together I rode down to the top secret place and set my rocket up.
I took all my equipment and set it up in a open space than I put the sparklers up the engine and lit the sparklers, as soon as I lit the sparklers I legged it behind a tree. It didn't go as high as it was meant to but it still looked good on camera. I reckon it reached a hieght of 10 metres but man it looked awesome. I will upload my video in two seconds. I am so exited one things for sure I'm definitely doing this again.

Launch day
Yes yes this is delicious, today is the day I’m launching my homemade model rocket contraption. Yes today after school at an unknown facility I will launch my rocket. Jacob and I ready his car looks pretty good, I don’t know about my rocket though it consists of a Estes model rocket engine inside a glad wrap roll made out of cardboard. I’m so exited Jacob and I have our cameras and we are going to film the whole thing this is going to be awesome. Hopefully later on tonight once I’ve gotten home I will be able to upload my video and do my last blog on how my rocket went. I have some doubts on Jacobs’s car going in a straight line and when and how it’s going to look like after it stops, as for my rocket I’m having trouble even calling it a rocket and I have serious doubts on it going straight up. I’m scared because it has no fins it might turn into one crazy fireworks display.
My plan on how it’s going to go well I can tell you one thing I have no plan, I’m basically going to set it off and leg it about 15m back. This is going to be so exiting. Who knows it might even work. I am still worried for when the last discharge goes off. I shall post one last post today around 7 to 8. Stay tuned for the next blog.

the 7th day
The tension is killing me, I have set a date and time twice now and its been called off I just want to get this thing over and done with. I am going to build my little model rocket today after school. It shall mostly consist of paper I am going to make the main rocket body out of a toilet paper roll as for the head or the cone at the top that will be made of paper. I’m so exited I think Jacob is to, from what I heard of his assignment he has gotten a lego car to strap to the rocket. The suspense is unbearable this is so cool. Stay tuned for the next exiting blog about my home made rocket.

the 6th day
I am so exited for wedensday im starting to make my rocket and i think jacob beattie one of our fellow bloggers has started to make his rocket car. And to all my fellow bloggers jacob is carzy he thinks that our rocket thingies could collide JACOB that is complete bouldadash, still that would be hilarious. I think my rocket will actually fly really high, and as for jacob's contraption it will be destroyed muhahahaha. Stay tuned for the next blog.
the 6th day
So i was all ready to set my rocket off into the sky when i was texted by jacob saying that jeffery could not come and we would have to do our rocket thingies now after school on thursday. I was so annoyed when i found out even though i have'nt even made it lol. so we are now thinking of doing it on wedensday. lets hope jeffery can because if jeffery cant come with his fuse lighter I'm just going to get heaps of sparklers and shove it up the engine and light it. Stay tuned.

The day after the day after the day after the first day
Hey bloggers I’m back, so it turns out that the rocket engines cost a lot so instead of spending heaps of money that I don’t have I got 3 rocket engines which only costed twenty two dollars. And now since I’m using fewer engines I’m only going to use a toilet paper roll as my main rocket shell. But this isn’t a bad thing because I’ve been informed by my friend Jeffery that each rocket engine has an average height of 500 metres. So it would make sense that three rockets could get it to around 1000 meters. The only bad thing is that nearing the end of the rockets blast there is another blast that shoots out the top of the engine deploying a parachute here’s the bad news mine wont have a parachute so the rocket will just blow up. Stay tuned for more exiting news.

The day after the day after the first
Hey bloggers I'm back. So my plan is to get the model rocket angines on the weekend with my fellow blogger jacob beattie. We are going to catch the train there on sunday. I'm getting really exited just think soon i will be making the rocket. Oh and don't worry viewers i wont be within a 20 metre radius of the rocket i will be hiding behind something. That is the good thing about the model rocket engines you can buy remote detonators so you dont have to light it yourself in case of a accident. Untill next time viewers goodbye.

The day after the first day
So i hit a bit of a road block some one said if i use pvc pipe i could blow my face off. So i am now going to make my rocket out of cardboard. Yes cardboard is flammable but I'm not expecting the rocket to land safely. I guess you could call it a suicide mission. Oh and some one said that if i make my own fuel i could end up in hospital. So I'm going to go to the city on the weekend to get some model rocket engines. I am going to get about 12 engines, each engine can reach a average hieght of 200 feet so hopefully i can get this thing air bourne. I am going to put 4 rocket engines in the main rocket and i will put 8 support engines around the main rocket. I am feeling pretty confident now because my new rocket shell will wiegh less making it easier for it to take off. Stay tuned for the next exiting blog.

day 1
Hi my name is sam i have acquired the challenge of building a home made model rocket with the limit of $40 and what evers in my shed. My plan is to make a self guided rocket made out of pvc pipe, scrap metal and ducktape. i will use shreaded sparklers, fuel and the inside of those party poppers as my fuel. The initial plan is for the rocket to actually get airbourne. I'm going to equip the rocket with two thrusters on the side giving it more power and hopefully it will lift off. So far i am just drawing up what i want it to look like and what i will need to make it. One things for sure somethings going to light up.
